Summer.

Summer at last, took its time this year, only really appeared mid December as it was still trying to be semi winter/ spring before that. Now as I write this it is that lazy part of the year between Xmas and New Years. Lazy, who said that?

Extremely busy at my house, lots to do in the veggie garden. The veggie plants have basically been idling along up to now but suddenly, most of them have taken off and there is lots to do. Plus mowing lawns and the weeds are everywhere as usual.

Berries.

Berries, fruit of the summer and sunshine but also very healthy. Which brings me to my main message for today. I have been searching for a good Acai Berry product to sell on my weight loss site. Most of them force you to buy the product before you can become an affiliate which does not suite me. Anyway I was clicking through my safelist adds yesterday and came across an Acai Berry add, which suits me down to the ground.

The Southern Hemisphere has moved into spring mode today as it is the 1st of September. Great, it has been a particularly cold winter this year and I am looking forward to the hotter weather as we go from spring to summer. It is also time to prepare the veggie garden for planting and the anticipation of a good crop. Late last season we tried out gherkins and gem squash, both was a success as we managed to harvest a small crop of gherkins and the squash flowered but the cold weather came too early. So they will definitely be planted again this year plus the normal beans, tomato’s, lettuce, beetroot, peppers, leeks, spring onions, spinach etc.

So, what has this all to do with marketing. Not much I suppose but it does keep me sane and gets me out there into the sunshine and open air. Plus of course it is good exercise and we get to eat good fresh veggies. What do you do to get away from the daily grind of trying to make an extra buck? Actually it is not a grind to me as I enjoy the challenge and the continues learning curve.

I have not done the opt-in page yet as a type of newsletter must also be developed and loaded into the autoresponder. Time is my problem, never enough and I am a bit senior so it does take me longer to learn how to do all of these complicated online “things”.

This blog has come about as I need somewhere to house my  autoresponder . I suppose I will also use it to announce new products for sale on my main website plus I could most probably use it to post information to help newbies.

I am mainly into selling e-books and scripts to help fellow online marketers improve their business. Please do not ask me about MLM, Matrix’s etc. as most of them are scams or have very short lifespans. The other problem with these programs is that you normally have lots of joiners and that’s all they are. They still believe in that dream that they will become rich overnight without doing any work. You want to make money on the internet, be prepared to work, stay away from the obvious scams and learn.
